Innovation Amidst Uncertainty

For many years, I’ve been a mentor and judge for the Louisiana Startup Prize.. I’ve always set my calendar by the qualifying events, the finals, and PrizeFest (a diverse, radiant, and often unexpected celebration of all aspects of the creative economy), in Shreveport, LA.

In mid-April, roughly a month into the first wave of COVID-19, I sat down (virtually), with Gregory Kallenberg to talk about steps that entrepreneurs, or communities, could take to navigate through uncertainty. We certainly didn’t have all the answers. We still don’t know all the questions. But I hope some of the principles we talked about will help frame some of what we all can do, as we work our way towards a better, safer, and more equitable future.
